Sir Walter Scott drew a dramatic parallel as to how lies can multiply and become more complex as we tell them.

And literature is filled with moral metaphors for a spider’s sticky web.

In reality, we barely give them a thought, walking through them , then quickly shedding and wiping them vigorously away as we go about our day.

But, have you ever stopped long enough to admire a spider’s beautiful handiwork?
